Holcim Foundation for Sustainable Construction
Holcim Foundation untuk Konstruksi Berkelanjutan berupaya memperkenalkan tanggapan yang berkelanjutan melalui teknologi, lingkungan, sosio ekonomi dan masalah budaya terhadap bangunan dan konstruksi di tingkat nasional, regional dan bahkan tingkat global. Untuk mendorong usualan inovatif pada konstruksi berkelanjutan, yayasan menyelenggarakan berbagai aktifitas termasuk kompetisi Holcim Awards, simposium Holcim Forum, Holcim Grants yang menyediakan dana bagi bangunan yang inovatif dan dana untuk proyek penelitian.
Partner Universities
The Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH Zurich) leads the Technical Competence Center of the Holcim Foundation. Other partner universities which host the independent Holcim Awards juries are: the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Cambridge, USA; the Universidad Iberoamericana (UIA) in Mexico City, Mexico; l’École Supérieure d’Architecture de Casablanca (EAC) in Morocco, and Institute of Technology (IIT Bombay) in Mumbai, India. The Universidade de São Paulo (USP), Brazil, the University of the Witwatersrand (Wits) in Johannesburg, South Africa, and the Tongji University (TJU) in Shanghai, China are associated universities of the Holcim Foundation.
Advisory Board
The Advisory Board of the Holcim Foundation ensures that the activities of the Holcim Foundation are conducted in accordance with current interpretations of sustainable construction. It shapes the Holcim Foundation's activities by identifying the architectural, scientific, cultural and policy concerns that should be integrated into its initiatives. The work of the Holcim Foundation is independent from the commercial interests of the Holcim Group.
